Legacy Giving to Our Endowment Fund

Did you know that leaving a bequest to UUCSR’s Endowment Fund in your will or trust is a wonderful way to ensure your legacy with your spiritual home?  You can also name UUCSR’s Endowment Fund as a sole or partial beneficiary on many investment accounts or your life insurance policy.  When you make a bequest to UUCSR’s Endowment Fund, you also become a member of the Congregation’s Legacy Circle.

The Endowment Fund’s purpose is to enhance the mission of UUCSR apart from the general operation of the Congregation.  For example, distributions can be made from the Endowment Fund to enhance educational programs of the Congregation, to address long-term issues regarding the Congregation’s facilities, and to promote the Congregation’s Social Justice and community programs. Distributions are usually not made from the Endowment Fund for ordinary operating expenses, as these are covered by members’ pledges.
